How it works

STUDENT PARENT APP
Parents can inform their child’s teacher that they are at the gate of the school to
pick up their child from within their parent app.
A distance can be set ensuring that the parent is within a specific distance from the school to be able to inform the teacher of their presence outside the
school.
This feature is suitable for schools that allow the parent vehicles to enter the
school premises.

VERIFICATION OF PARENT / GUARDIAN DURING PARENT PICKUP
PARENT PICKUP
When a parent is picking up a child from school, the school staff has the option of verifying the parent or guardian using the Attendance system
CHILD SAFETY IS NOT COMPROMISED
This will ensure that a child cannot be picked by an unauthorised person
NAME / PHOTO / ID of the parent / guardian
The name, photograph or ID card of the parent/guardian is available in the system to be viewed immediately by security staff
DATA SAVED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES
For reporting and future reference the important details are also saved in the database (including student exit time, exit gate & details of the person picking up the student)

Verification of a parent or guardian picking up a student from school
Photo or ID based verification of the parent or guardian picking up the student can be done instantly. For future reference the important details are also saved in the database (including exit time, exit gate & details of the person picking up the student)
Tardy Print for late comers to school
Ability to quickly print tardy receipts to be handed over to the students to show to class teacher (compatible printer required connected to the device running the Attendance app)
If a student has left the campus early or is staying back for ECA
Information has to be passed to the respective bus assistant (in the Bus App) that the student has left the campus. In the case of ECA, it will ensure that the bus is not kept waiting for the student in the afternoon trip back to home
If parent informs that a child is not coming to school
From within the parent app and then the bus assistant does not have to be called. This will ensure that the bus doesn’t have to visit the student’s bus stop and be kept waiting at the stop.
If a student has left the campus early
Information has to be passed to the respective bus assistant (in the LS Bus App) that the student has left the campus.
If a child enters the wrong bus
Immediate notification to the transport manager of this issue and immediate fix using the Bus system
